ABOUT SOUL SINGING

After teaching privately for over a decade Angela Burdett established Soul Singing in 2006 to meet the growing demand for a more holistic approach to music and voice training, and to community music in general.

Soul Singing provides individual and group tuition aimed at helping you find your inner voice and discover the joy of music and in particular, singing.

At Soul Singing we do not teach any particular vocal style, but concentrate on developing each person's natural voice. Whether you already sing and wish to improve your technique, or are someone who has only ever sung in the shower before, Soul Singing offers a range of tuition options to suit your needs.

As well as general tuition in singing, guitar and music theory, Soul Singing also provides tuition in breath control, voice production and a variety of techniques whereby the voice can be utilised as a tool for health and wellbeing. Vocal Wellbeing Workshops are offered regularly throughout the year, as well as workshops on a number of specialised topics such as choir and ensemble singing, starting your own singing group, and music for early childhood professionals.
